You knew it just had to be a matter of time before the Chinese came up with a knock off.
How soon until they make an X27 copy?
Would you trust a Chinese clone axe?

I do have to admit that the Swish marks on the handle make it look faster than the fiskars hatchet

Hopefully they make one soon! I still use an old old School maul, too cheap to spend $50 on a friskars.
Heck yeah I'd trust it. Heck yeah I'd try one too.

Looks like an x7, I'd just spend the extra $9 and get the Fiskars

I am a sucker for Chinese knockoffs. But I am getting a little tired of them, I have had a few not work out so well. Especially electronics.

Frankly, I am glad the Fiskars hadn't been copied yet when I bought mine, so I could avoid the temptation.

Alot of it is hit or miss.
It's hard finding a good axe that will hold an edge(much less a maul), the junk sold at Ace lows or HD all suck and all cost almost as much as an x27. I'm tired of buying crap tools at high prices
I'd rather pay a junk price and get junk:wacky:

I would spend the extra few dollars and go with the Fiskars, unless that thing has a warranty.

Sometimes the knockoff is made by the original manufacturer like the Gerber version says made in Finland. This may be made by fiskars as well. Just different letters and design on the handle. ?
