Sweet, Never done it but would love to.

 

I love it for my dog. Cool fall days sitting on a log talking to my English pointer. The birds are a tasty bonus

They started coming north again a couple of weeks ago. This weather is gonna play hell on 'em!

 

I've seen some last week. Was thinking same thing about the weather

 

Same here, I saw the first one last week.
Aren't they main bug eaters? I hope they eat all the ticks!
I have a good population of them, too small to bother with.

 

Definitely not meat hunting lol it's more about time alone in the thickets with my dog

I shot one many years ago. I remember 2 hunks of breast meat-a rich, tasty treat. I imagine you'd need a dozen for a meal.

 

I usually try and collect a few for a meal. I truly enjoy them
