I've seen several polls on this and they have all agreed but thought it might be interesting to have a poll here.

Yes, I could have added another choice as many have stated they would like to discontinue moving the clocks but stay on DST rather than Standard time. But I highly doubt that would ever be done as that could mess up the world clock situation. Therefore I did not allow this in the vote.

WARNING: Please do not let this become highly political; just answer the poll and leave political comments out of it. This is just a simple poll to see if people would rather have DST or ST.

DST was started so I didn't have to walk up hill 12 miles in the dark to sit in the principal's office all day!

I think we should make a permanent switch to remain on DST year round.

We prefer dst in our home. Definitely pick a time & leave it alone.

To really mess with your mind, my wife's grandparents live on the edge of a time zone. Town is a different time zone, one of the two zones observes DST the other does not! They call it fast time, slow time and alot of non-printable words!!!
I'm for leaving the clock alone, Ill take either one but I kinda like DST better

I'm with the poster who said split the difference- move the clock 30 minutes and leave it year round.

Same here regarding living close to time zone border. Except there are three different zones here...

Eastern and Central are two of them...

I have invented a New Standardized Time.
    I've already submitted a patent.
Sunrise is at 7am EVERY day.

We have amazing electronics nowadays. My clocks all changed themselves last night...
Look at it as a slide scale.

Otherwise... Pick one and tear the knob off...I'm tired of changing!!!!!!

Personally, I would rather move to the equator, then time change would be moot. However, since I'm broke flatter than p1$$ on a plate, negating an expensive move, then they should just pick one and stay there. I don't care if it's standard or DST, just pick one and stop the madness already.
