I forget how I enjoy looking at y'alls pics, no matter how simple or routine they might seem. Well here's a few from this morning, around 5* but nice & sunny. No big deal, I cut these little Beech the other day and left them sort of on my trails before I knew that we had a pretty decent snow coming. We still have a decent snow pack and it's real hard, too hard & icy to plow and I don't really have a clear spot to "work them up" otherwise........
Just wanted them all together close to where they'll turn into farwood - someday:thumbs:

and here they are all together. I like them about this size, I only need to half them on the splitter, my boiler likes bigger pieces and under about 6" I just cut to length.

    We're supposed to get 12-18" Tue/Wed, I'll take it:yes:

Beautiful pictures rig you have there. Hopefully the snow we have coming stays under a foot. The cold can't be too bad from the cab:)

Thank's Hammy, but no cab there. Just a roof and a plexiglass wind shield. I asked the salesman when I was inquiring about a cabbed tractor how much the frameless & rounded glass door would cost to replace :bug: $700!
As you get older you really start to "know yourself" and I know I'd be riding around in a tractor that needed 1 or 2 of those expensive doors eventually:rofl: . Pretty much all of my tractor work is in the woods, no "field work".

Wow. Kubota is proud of that door. How's the plexi holding up? I can't hardly see out of the one on my gator.

Would the kits for restoring vehicle headlights possibly work ?

I'm very carefull washing it, and it comes out after the snow. The whole that's left is my AC in the summer:thumbs:

Someone told me that after a few years those frameless doors are available "after market" for much less. Most of my "tractoring" in hopping on & off all the time and wether it's true or not, I keep telling myself (and honestly believe) that a cab would just be a PITA, and a busted up one at that:rofl:

The door's are safety glass on a factory full cab. My El cheapo windshield is plastic, but the wind doesn't know.:D

At least you guys can consider cabs !! At 6'4 and 400+ by the time someone outside would help squish the door closed, I'd fart and die of oxygen depletion.

Good idea. I'll give that a try one of these days.

A lot of the new cabs have the door as the whole side of the cab. Should be able to squeeze you in a little easier. As for your gas leak the fall is the best time to buy scuba gear. ;)

Right where I want to be.
A good vapor HEPA respirator would be cheaper. And, he wouldn't look as silly as he would holding that spear gun in a snowstorm.:D

Figured he'd like a little extra oxygen after squeezing through the door. :Yar:
