    We live in a disposable society, true that.

    Customers ask how long their brand new hi efficiency furnace will last....10-12 years is typical........

    They need to sell cars to make a profit. Make 'em last and they sell less.
    And spraying entire vehicles is becoming more common. I'd LOVE to do the Jeep!

    Fwiw, Colorado is one of the best states to get vehicles from. They don't use salt on the roads. I had a buddy whose dad would drive out to Colorado to buy cars all the time specifically because they don't use salt on the roads and their cars and trucks are in much better shape because of that.

    I was shocked that so many people here were surprised on how long vehicles last here when posting on the "final goodbye 1999 F250" thread. My father told me never to buy vehicles from the NE, but yikes it sounds like some of the NE's vehicles are almost disposable from the road treatments.

    If you are willing to stray far from home to buy a vehicle, I always thought Arizona was a good place to start. It is a desert area so it is almost always dry and a 15 year old truck looks better than a 5 year old one looks around here but it is priced like a 15 year old truck.
