We were running short on seasoned wood for this year so I've been looking for standing dead to get us through. Mrs TD and I spent about three hours in the woods felling, bucking and hauling out some beautiful BTU's. Got all the help we could handle from Ruger and Diesel Ruger likes to drive the quad... Hauled the load home and brought it inside. Had a sub from Houser's and relaxing in the stove room admiring our bountiful harvest.
4X4, firewood, chainsaws, a girl and a dog! America is a great place! Nice work Mr & Mrs. T. D. You're a lucky man, my wife wouldn't pick up a piece of firewood if she was about to trip over it, she'd call me first. But I still love her.
Four years ago the Mrs saw how much we saved on HHO. (She pays all the bills) She likes to save money, so she's good at firing the stove. Bought me 2 saws and a found me a splitter too! I sure love her!
I was beginning to think we were the only ones left with snow on the ground. Darn it is so cold here, My thermometer is reading at 5 F. Don't care for that one bit. It is also very windy so the wind chill factor must make it even colder.
Oh No!!! .... we all know that wood doesn't season till it's bucked, split and stacked in the perfect condition, of course top covered for 2-3 years at a minimal.... I need to report this to our elders immediately for making such a false claim...... now some one will think that they can go burn water too....... Seriously.... awesome job! Love the stove and dog pics... and of course the slippahs....
great job Mrs and mr. TD.. if wood is dry you can burn it..do you got a meter just to be sure.. that IS likes 20 % or less
Wait till they get rested up then they will help you spread that score all over the yard Gotta love em
Good job, now relax and enjoy! Both of you! We're playing cards next to the wood stove this evening and enjoying the fire.
