We were running short on seasoned wood for this year so I've been looking for standing dead to get us through.
Mrs TD and I spent about three hours in the woods felling, bucking and hauling out some beautiful BTU's. 20170311_133223.jpg

Got all the help we could handle from Ruger and Diesel

Ruger likes to drive the quad...:picard:

Hauled the load home and brought it inside. :dex:

Had a sub from Houser's and relaxing in the stove room admiring our bountiful harvest.:handshake:

Nice work Mr & Mrs. T. D. :salute:
You're a lucky man, my wife wouldn't pick up a piece of firewood if she was about to trip over it, she'd call me first.  But I still love her. :emb:

I was beginning to think we were the only ones left with snow on the ground. Darn it is so cold here, My thermometer is reading at 5 F. Don't care for that one bit. It is also very windy so the wind chill factor must make it even colder.

Oh No!!! :hair::hair:.... we all know that wood doesn't season till it's bucked, split and stacked in the perfect condition, of course top covered for 2-3 years at a minimal.... I need to report this to our elders immediately for making such a false claim...:picard:... now some one will think that they can go burn water too...:faint:....

Seriously.... awesome job! Love the stove and dog pics... and of course the slippahs.... :handshake:

Red oak, ash, cherry, maple, possibly elm, it was stringy. It may have been oak though.
    All good!

Good job, now relax and enjoy! Both of you!
We're playing cards next to the wood stove this evening and enjoying the fire.
