You guys get 8 inches and don't skip a beat. Kids still goto school. It's like a normal day. Man, 8 inches here in the "south" the kids are out of school 3 days minimum. We have one scraper in my small farm town. It's like a 1979 international. No salt.

So the forecast for Saturday night is 1-4 inches and man let me tell you. The panic button is flat as a pancake. It's all hands on deck. No bread, no milk no nothing. I just wished they could all read what I read on here. Hats off to you big snow guys. I hate that crap also. Lol

I once had a school bus driver say "jump on" as he slowly slid past our driveway ...
    :jaw:

I said "I think I'll wait" as i calmly waited for it to stop a few feet past me.

    :picard:

Of coarse, that was many years ago.
Now we're in a sue happy world where even saying something like that would end badly...

We really didn't get much at all this season. Last year:

Had to give the girls some grass to snack on.

Biggest negative is all the road treatment. It eats the vehicles something terrible.

True that. If schools were to be cancelled every time there was over 8" (or so), the kids would be attending all summer just to make up the snow days! And I'm sure that would go over well with the teachers unions.....;)

Yeah we had to do the same thing. They were stuck in there the first day while I cleared the patio, sidewalk and driveway.

    The end of day 1.

Here in Western Wisconsin the forecast is for 5-7 inches starting Sunday evening and going into Monday. We had just gotten rid of the snow that we had and now we get more. Real bummer
