    Our summer last year was very dry and we were in the second highest drought level. I only mowed something like 4 times - and two of those were before June. Hoping it is better for moisture this year.

    Just got back from Home and Hearth in Hampton Falls, NH. I got 10 bags of Vermonts to make sure I have enough to last the season. $61.50 They have plenty!

    I saw that this morning. Yesterday they said the seacoast might get rain but now they are leaning towards more snow. Oh well. The dogs will have fun.

    P43 shutting down now for cleaning. Got the P61a roaring to get to 80* downstairs and send a bit of heat upstairs. Got quite a bit of sun so hopefully the solar gain helps offset the heat loss from the wind. If all else fails I can use a bit of propane, but they didn't deliver last month (that auto delivery caught up to the fact I don't use much gas), so I don't want to use it if I don't have to.

    Went to the dump and wore my long underwear underneath my day clothes. Not too bad, although the wind still cuts thru a bit.
