    Haven't seen a winter like this in a long time. Yesterday's trip went well. Mostly bare roads with the occasional snow flurries. Cold and clear this morning. Two more days and the work week will be over. I picked up a wireless keyboard for my computer. It sure is quiet compared to the old one. I really like the keys on it.

    Trying to get some needed sleep today. Just brought some firewood in, with the kids helping, to get it ready to sit by the boiler for a few days after the other goes into it during rotation.

    Warmest start to a year since records were kept in Indy. That's a 145 year record. We've had 20 60 degree plus days so far in 2017 :eek:!
    Next week looks to be colder than its been all winter so I just brought some wood in.

    I need to check the weather.

    I got soft this year. Easiest wood burning winter I can remember and I'm SICK of throwing wood at the stove.

    Neighbors are having 2 monster oak trees dropped today. Probably 2 cord per tree. I'm covered up in firewood...just need some time to actually do it.
