I find it extremely funny that while typing "input harmonic content", I typed "Harmanic" instead

B, I think you stumbled on to a new label for us-Harmaniac (Har maniac)
The nay-sayers will probably call us Harmaniacal (Har maniacle)

Not a bad ride in today. Roads weren't but wet. Asphalt held the warmth over night. Lawn, deck and front steps had some. Maybe an inch or so. Prediction of 1 to 3 in my area. No school for the kiddo.

Left a note to shovel or no gas money........ Bribery?? :emb: Anything to save the back!! :p

Not bribery - showing the relationship of actions (or inaction) and consequences. Many times people view "consequences" as bad, but in this case, action brings about good consequences

Weather underground is predicting 13 inches here on Tuesday.
    :hair:
Funny thing is the boxes are pretty much sold out of pellets now, so if this cold weather remains for a little while, the pellet stores could get a nice end of season boost in sales.

Yeah and look at the mindset of the new "all about me, mine and instant gratification" generation.
I commend those of you who have still taught core values with your children

Being retired is more work than actually working at times.

We had our official March snow the other day.
About 6 inches or so, then it went away.

Throttled back to the little Whit now for a while.
Temps in the upper 40's F at night and mid/upper 50's in the day.

May hit 60 F in a few days.

Time to start snooping for some more Pellet stoves to pick up and refurbish for next fall.

I'm ready for the cold blast heading my way. I did a deep cleaning yesterday. Blew out the horseshoe, cleaned the exhaust piping, lubed the blowers, and vacuumed out the accumulated golden fur from the fans. I think I'll pick up 10 more bags of Vermonts tomorrow just in case.

I may even buy 100 gallons of heating oil for the furnace. I've used 1/2 a tank in the 8 years I've been here. I had to treat the oil with a biocide 'cause it sat for so long. 100 gallons should last me another 8 years

i add Power Services biocide every time i get a large quantity of oil. Never used to have a problem with heating oil, but in the last 10 years the black slime that grows in diesel and #2 has been much more prevalent.

I add a mix of Marvel Mystery oil, Power Services fuel treatment, and a biocide to all of the diesels at the Museum each spring (if i remember!) especially the ones we don't use a lot. a couple ounces for each 10 gallons. makes a huge difference.
when i forget, one of them will develop power problems, stumbling and hard starting - that's my reminder!

Well, this round of sn*w only left me about 3". Roads & driveway/sidewalks melted off on their own, so only had decks/steps to do....20 mins and all finished. Sun is out now and I hear stuff dripping.

    Not liking Tues, though. :hair:
