The good news is that rather than waiting until Saturday night to have power restored, magically the power came on about an hour ago here! Good. Generator is shut down and we still have plenty of gas left over. Of course having a generator meant there was no spoiled food and we had all the necessary things that electric gives. Also we went for a walk through part of the woods today but only saw a few trees that came down. Will have to cut a couple out of some lanes but that won't take long. No damage to house or barns. Some neighbors not so lucky and we feel for them the same as we feel for those east of us who also had some very strong winds to contend with. Now the cold will settle in for a few days but hopefully spring is back very soon. We keep seeing more and more spring birds as the days pass. Many more came today.
Looks like things will be warmer after next Tues-Wed up here. Of course, that forecast will change before we get that far.
Great to hear your back on the grid! Does this mean there'll be more wood to play with at the gtg? I won't be able to attend. But hopefully one of these years we can.
Looks like we may get some snow Monday and Monday night first Dave. I'm ready for spring to come and stay. But, I did put some more wood on the porch this morning. Put some oak on there for the next couple nights it is supposed to turn rather cold.
