    Over in these parts of WNY today we are experiencing strong winds 30-45mph with gusts up to 70mph in some parts. So I called my wood guy and said..." If you have any downed tree's you want to get rid of, just dump them on my lawn"...Too my surprise, he said.." How's tomorrow???"....Wow..Free as well....Just for the heck of it!!!

    I just got back from a walk with the dags and there are 6 big maples down just in a mile radius from my house. Not sure what the record gust was or where it occurred but I'm willing to bet high 60's. Nordic Splitter, where are you located? I'm in Hamburg. Lotta wood for the taking but my pile of work is huge right now, already got enough to keep me busy.

    That's good for jumping on the wood right away. Methinks there will be plenty to go around for many with this wide spread wind. I've alerted a guy to some trees down near us and he says he will be jumping on them.
