I think it's maple but no idea if it's silver, sugar etc. what you guys think? It's my 2017 winter season stash so it has 7 months to season. Thanks

Appears to be Maple some of the bark tells me Norway Maple good firewood would be better if it was for 2018 but it should be seasoned enough for 2017.

yea, I am a little behind on next season. I should do 4 cords but I only have about 3. Should have some Cherry next. It will be stacked in high wind and sunny area so I hope to be below 20%.

The bright color of the wood tells me Silver Maple. I burn a fair bit of it. Seasons fast, burns fast, but it'll warm your home for sure.

Could be a young Sugar maple or possibly a Norway.

Norway maple for sure. It's like sugar BTU wise about 2 year dry time.

Yeah, it sure looks like Norway maple to me as well. Yes, it'd be better if it could sit another year.

I'd go after as much cherry as you can get CHeath . That stuff dries quickly, and is good BTUs for such a quick seasoning wood.

I've got some cherry nearby just can't get it till it falls. Lots of dead standing.
