Went to see them before I bought my p68, nice enough people there but closer to home in Brookline met some very nice folks and managed to keep a fair share of my hard earned cash in the bank. May want to consider when and if you should commence to owning a Harman !

I will definitely shop around. Being retired I am on a fixed income and every penny counts! I would hope that my years of business with them would help sharpen their pencils, but you never know. If and when my Baby gives up the ghost, I'll keep you guys appraised of my quest for a Harman!

Now that I find myself retired, I gave up my Pellet Pig status. The last two years had me buying what I thought I would use, then buying 10 or 15 bags at a time to keep the heating going. Right now I have 7 bags left. Seeing as we are heading into a week long cold snap, I best go and grab a few more.

I guess you can call me an Ex Pig :BrianK:

We'll get you Piggin out again!!

Harman makes a Cadillac of a stove. I now have an Enerzone Eurostar that has a bottom feed like a Harman instead of the Classic Bay I had back in the day.

It has a digital touch screen control panel and self troubleshoots. I really do love it!! But given the opportunity? I'd trade it for a Accentra, Advance, XXX, P-43, PC-45, P-61, or P-68 any day.

Dex, that is a beautiful looking stove! What makes it so you would take a Harman over it?

Most of the boxes of parts can be made to work. It is easier with some than others.

You would think I would know what I was buying being an engineer :faint: That said, living with this thing for as long as I have, I have become intimately familiar with it. I don't think there's much it can throw at me that I can't fix or make better :picard:

Well the reason I still have my box of parts is it really can't toss any problem at me that I haven't seen.
