IMG_1062.JPG While cutting wild cherry that was cleared for a parking lot, I found this Native American knife in the excavated area. Had to stop cutting wood for a while but this is all I found. Cool things happen when you get out and do things.

    Totally cool!
Was it above ground, or did you kick it loose?

The excavated lot was about 12 inches deep. The base for the asphalt had not been put in yet. The knife was on top of the 12 inch deep excavation.

Close to 30 years ago when we were clearing for our house we found and Indian implement. My wife wondered why the indians had camped there. I told her that they liked to camp on high ground not far from water and that the road being close made it easy for them!

Took her awhile to figure that one out!

I never find points when I intentionally look for them. Always by accident. I found a nice piece two years ago while digging in my garden. But I think Ill keep them for the grand daughters.

After how all the decades on this planet, I have learned never, NEVER, ask a woman any directions, especially regarding compass directions. (N, S, E, or W)

"You just turn to the right"........is what I hear. Thats whey we never ask for directions!
