The issue isn't when I'm in the house, it's when I walk outside to go to work.

I only make it out of the bed room to get to the bathroom today. Didn't even look outside. Got some intestinal bug. Seems to be settling down a bit now. Ate some chicken soup. Hope that settles well. Need a cup of tea. :coffee:

Up today, so far so good. Let's see how it goes. Plan of eating breakfast and move on as normal. Back hurts like heck, but that is from having bed in bed so long. I might be old, but I fight back!

Don't need to anymore. I just start the truck from inside and let it get warm. Starting it remotely also turns on the heated seats, so I'm good to go.

Started snowing here this AM around 5:30. Roads were slicker than chit on the way to work. 28* so everything froze. Got to work and parked and took about 5 steps and stepped on some snow covered ice and went down in a flash. I landed on my side and I think I jammed my elbow into my ribs, but man do I hurt. I'm not looking forward to getting out of bed in the AM.

Go talk to the Doc, those quick falls usually do real damage just ask my right wrist and arm, two trips down and two visits actually were neaded. The wrist did get dislocated and the radius did get busted. No fun OM.

Well, as it turned out a woman in my office saw me wince when I stood up. She asked what happened and I told her. She told my boss, who made me fill out an accident report. Once personnel saw it, they made me go to an urgent care place near by. I spent 15 minutes convincing them I didn't need to be there before they released me. Diagnosis is bruised ribs. (And ego).

Rebounding back to myself. Went swimming today, a tad weak, but kept at it for 90 min. Water was nice at 90F
Tomorrow, my son wants to start finishing my porch. I'm putting on pine boards for the inside finish. tongue and grove.

Always good to get those accident reports filled out. You may not feel it now, but something could end up broken/dislocated, or if a cut is involved, an infection. You do NOT want to be on the receiving end of a denied worker's comp claim because you finally decided to have something looked at but the incident was a week back and you can't prove it happened at work. Additionally, most companies would rather have you go in and find out nothing is wrong.

Glad everything is relatively fine in your case!
