Maybe they priced it like most other trucks with a super high MSRP, and then $10-15k in rebates. I'm sure there's tax advantages in a lot of states as well.
There are always rebates or subsidies. There are charging systems that are not used that were subsidied, entity's actually got paid to put them in. The truck, the first thing I think is instant gobs of tq. I wonder what it's milage is like when working or towing.... Intent is a lot different than down payments. 1000 units IMO is not nearly enough for a go ahead on production.
