Only had one wife... I tend to collect more than dispose. At one time I had 25 tractors, am down to 10 (plus 3 John Deere lawn tractors). Chain saws are much easier to hide.

They missed our storm totals by about a foot.
So I plowed some and found out my sled does good in the powder but I need more practice turning it. 0213141912a.jpg 0213141836.jpg 0213141909.jpg

I don't know my Olivers, but know those 440's fetch a real pretty penny!

The didn't build many Super 44's or 440's, so they are in demand. Sems many of them went to tobacco field in Southside Virginia or North Carolina. I bought mine back in the '90's outside Chapel Hill, NC. The Cockshutt 20's can bring pretty good coin as well.

I've had a grand time with the Hitachi. My stacks are on 10-12 feet of fill above the original grade, built my garden terraces, excavated the lower side of the house. My not nearly as pretty as Gasifier's Ford with an 8' rake cleans up the Hitachi's work.
60 hp of diesel tied solely to a hydraulic pump in a 12 ton package make for a good time:drunk:

Is that just for yard use or do you do other work with it?

I couldn't do without my T190 now that I have had it for a little over a year.

Looks like the mower did a better job of beating down the grass than cutting it.

Just shows how ideas are recycled, this Roof Palomino beat them to the side by side mower concept by 50 years.

It was used for landing work for my late FIL's logging business. My buddy and I rescued it from a slow death as it sat for 15 years in the ADKs after he got sick. I had a bunch of site work to do at my house and now its clearing hedge rows at the farm. Hopefully we'll always have a use for it because I enjoy operating it immensely and it isnt worth a whole lot.

Looks like they are trying to cut 18" grass with a finish mower -- never going to work well even if the blades are sharp.

A modern side by side with a 3 point hitch would be very handy though.

They make the toolcat but that is more like the love child of a tractor and skid steer.

I'd like something more like a gator or mule with a 3 point hitch -- kind of like that bombardier.

Deere monkeyed around with an electric lift on a rear hitch for the Gators in the 90's but the idea lost traction. Literally. Seems tough to build a utility vehicle that treads lightly on turf (which the old 4x2 and 6x4 Gators were exceptional at) and has the weight and ground pressure needed to run 3 pt attachments. Anything that's not really ground engaging seemed to work just as well if not better as a pull-behind configuration.

What is it that you want to do with a 3pt on a UTV?

I have a mule and a small diesel tractor with 3pt hitch... The fel is handy but not really big enough to do any real work. A side by side with 3 pt hitch for mowing, york rake and maybe snowblower could replace the small tractor and mule

Then I could justify a 40+ hp tractor.

Here is mine, 21 years old never spent a night under cover. Never had to do a thing to it other than basic maintenance.

Sometimes if ya need a job done right.....

PTO back there is going to be a problem tho. Only the real HD Utility vehicles like the Pro Gator, Toro Workman, Cushman, and the Jacobsen SV series have that kind of capability. They usually have a small set of hydraulic remotes too. ;)
