I guess you might be right, would likely catch too much sawdust anyway. It is a shame that more members of my generation don't know the vale of hard work

Lots of other generations had fem-boys, lazy limp wristed etc.

Don't let the hate bother you there is a serious stigma on here of millennials.

The vid is funny, it's obviously made by millennials:thumbs: .

The stigma about millenials isn't just here. It's everywhere. There's a good reason for it, unfortunately.

If you're on this site, regardless of the generation you are, you're probably well grounded.

I've always felt the issue is more with the generations that helped raise them.

I have found the majority of the ones I work with are hard workers. At work to mess with them we call them "generation snow flake".

As a older millennial who's always had a beard and wears flannel and boots on casual Fridays I've been accused so many times of being a hipster it's not even funny. I guess that's what I get for having a job that's located right on the edges of hipster central in downtown Cincinnati. The sad thing is, I do like all the bars that showed up within walking distance of the office. For as weird as hipsters are, they do at least like decent beer.

Those born in the 80's, 90's, and very early 2000's. They're (well, we're) kind of the the scapegoat of the working world now.

When I asked my son-in-law to come help for FREE wood, I was chastised by my daughter and my wife. They told me "you know he cant do that kind of work". WHAT!!! He cant do that kind of work???? How can you learn if you dont DO that kind of work. Hes got all of his body parts and he can walk and pick things up. What disqualifies him from "that kind of work". NUTS :hair::loco: :hair::loco: :headbang::loco: :doh:

I now consider myself O.G. millenial. I can no longer do manual labor because my hands and/or feelings may get hurt.
If you need me, I'll be in the corner crying.
Plus I get to wear those cool clothes!

That would be funny iffn it wasnt so true. Not only for youngers but for guys my age. Last year a life long friend was having some work related difficulty. He and his wife and me and my wife are all not to many years from being 2 days older than dirt. Last year his wife was let go from a pretty good job that she was about to retire from because she was just being a beeatch and his job as a tool and die maker/machinist was down sized. They both have a habit of living beyond their means but thats their problem. Well, I told him that if he needed some income I could give him a job helping me run a sledge, wheelbarrow, and shovel at my landscaping job. Even though they were sounding like they were strapped for income he says to me "Oh no, I couldnt do what you do. Thats to much work." I say astalaFoff bud. Me no feel sorry fer you no more.

Not many people out there seem to be able to do what we do, why that is I don't know. It is kinda making me feel like I'm special, and not in a short bus way either. :saw::axe: :stacke: :campfire:All I know is I don't need to run on no treadmill like a hamster to be fit.
