well...... This has NEVER happened before. Rounds under the end view to. This winter = constant muck.
I see you are in SE Wis., here in NW Iowa the weather has been cold then warm then blizzard then warm then cold, well you get the picture. Ground water has been really high for 2 years so hoping for a little dryer conditions this summer.
I like the pallet racking. I have some extra at work I'm thinking it might fall into the back of my truck one of these days.
I got the picture alright.. That same movie is playing here. I have never had this issue of the rounds sinking in like this. I can't even walk where I usually cut.
I can't recommend pallet racking enough. Chain link fence on the ends and fill-er-up, 8' is about the safest height for me to just grab wood off.
This insert is handy and easy to make. It pops over the cutting edge nuts and 1 3/8" grade 8 bolt on each side is all that holds it in.
