I got one for a son-in-law. He has a great disappearing act when I pull in with a load of wood to stack. Daughter says hes real good at washing dishes and vacuuming though.
Used to give them several loads a year. So a couple years ago I offered him to come help. All I heard was crickets. So....NO MO WOOD.
I have some in-laws that ask for wood and I offer to take them to the mountains with me and we will get them some wood together. Out of 5 of them only one has gone so far. Then I had a nephew that wanted some wood for his barrel stove in his shop. He did go to the mountains with me but later told me that he did not know I was going to work the crap out of him. That one really cracked me up.
I'd rather, any day. I guess I'm a millennial from a quick google search. Says early 80's to late 90's births. I've never tried to cut a tree with goo gone? Guess I feel lucky my parents raised me outside and instilled a actual work ethic into me. I mean I do love my technology but I also love going out there and dropping a tree or building a cabinet, ya know? It's all about balance.
They do exist. . Unfortunately you are in the minority for generation Y people. It's all how you are raised, and unfortunately most gen Y, or millenials, have zero work ethics, expect things to be given to them when they don't deserve it, and want to change processes that work without even understanding how they work now. As the baby boomers retire in mass like they have been for years, all that's left to actually work are Gen X'ers like myself, and the few Gen Y'ers that get it.
