That is how it works gbreda. My mail is always late after a holiday. My mail is usually late in the day anyway.

Same here, usually between 4 and 4:30 except Sat. when the alternate carrier is here around noon. That is for USPS, the UPS person can show up anytime. I liked our deliveries better when A...zon used UPS.

Good to see the Hard Hat in the truck / that Joe is requiring you to use proper Safety techniques when loading pellets.

    Nice score!

It be cold, and the wind be o'blowing here.. Gusts took the chimney cap off, again. It's staying off for a few days. :shiver:

White stuff on the ground, just an inch or two. Stove will be getting a workout this week.

Lots of driving this past week - youngest is all set for the university exchange program in Japan, back-n-forth to UNH Durham & Boston, to get her college stuff & travel Visa in order. Was good to spend time w/ her before she leaves, just another 10 days now.

Glad to be off the road for a few days, lots of work piled up - gotta get busy. :picard:

Have a great day, stay warm everyone.

We had started with looking at local dealers and local used. We found models within our tow weight limits and the layout we wanted. Then we started to look at the specs and refinements. We considered that most of the time we could use it was in the off farm season. The we began the trek to find a four season travel trailer. The spin by manufacturers started to get waist deep. Evasive answers or repeating the verbiage on the websites. When I got the definitive truth, none of the trailers we had added to our list of possibles would work.

So our finalists became... in order or preference:
    ORV CreekSide
    Northwood RV Nash
    Lance
    Oliver

The Creekside and the Nash are extremely similar. The two companies were started by the same founder, Ron Nash. Both trailer companies have exceeded all others when you are looking to camp in weather that's in negative temperatures. I have several contacts sharing their experiences with me as they have lived day to day in their respective ORV trailers this winter. One is in Idaho working in an oil field. ORV has just restructured it's line of trailers and I await the final spec's for the trailer we have in mind. It's due out any day or week???? It also will mean I have to travel to Oregon to pick it up.

Yesterday I did look at a 30' FR Solaire it had a nice layout but not the insulation package I want. I would like a slide for space within, but the slide becomes an area that allows air infiltration during cold weather. That is the reason that the Nash is choice #2.

We won't be trading up in size. I restored this truck for a reason, so I could afford the trailer for the same monies. The goal is to have no debt, lots of fun and down time from the farm.
