The wife had said something about getting some pallet forks but it's tax time so we'll see how we end up.

Even though the bucket worked good, the plow for pushing snow with the tractor is much better.

Thanks Hammy , this tractor thing is all new to me. I remember being on the hay wagon many years ago at my grandparent's farm, it was being pulled by a Ford 9n.

The wife informed me after we bought the tractor she would like a shed that's 2 or 3 bays in the woods for storage so the backhoe will come in handy. We'll need to knock down some big azz Pine first, with spring around the corner I guess we should get going on the specifics of the shed.

I was hoping we could get some 8x8's long enough that we could just put them down four feet below frost but I'm wondering if that would give the roof enough slope for this area.

This is true. But I do see some colder temps coming as well. :( Oh well, it has been a mild winter and I've enjoyed it!

I think March will be colder for us but I can start some of the felling in the area we plan on putting the shed.

I do need to have some fires in the outdoor fireplace so I can get rid of some of the not so good pine and the branches.

I pushed around some snow from piles onto the ground so this rain can get rid of it easier, I went down to our neighbors to push the snow back and boy is it soft in his driveway.

After that I went back to the area that has a bunch of damaged yellow birch and that small ravine still has enough snow I can't tell what's underneath, the trails I've been running the rhino on are all ice still so I'm hoping with the rains and the warm weather it takes care of the ice.

94BULLITT , the drawbar stabilizer wouldn't fit so it will go back to TSC, I'll look for something else.

The reviews I saw did say it fits some but not all tractors, I'll get something.

If you allow the bar to pivot and are using proper rigging (hooks, clevis, etc), wouldn't it automatically align itself to the plane of your pull?

A "box scraper" make's a good wood hauler with very little *mod's and no effect to it's original purpose.
    * just add some chain attachment points at the top back edge of the box

I took the old camera with me on the tractor so I could take some pictures but when I tried it said the disk was full, I had just deleted 14 pictures from the disk last night! :hair:

I moved all the good rounds of pine out of the hole to our pine splitting pile, the hole is set for us to drop more pine., I'll try another disk tomorrow if I can find one.

The bucket is off and the plow is back on ready for more snow.

I deleted another 36 pictures today but when I put it back in it repairs the disk which puts the pictures back on. I guess that we need some new disk for the old camera.

We finally have plenty of snow to plow with the 4540, I'll be doing two driveways or more if someone needs help and the trails to our wood stacks we're using this year.

NOAA had us getting 12-18 inches of snow, I think we'll be over 18 by the time the storm ends.

We received 22 inches of snow and it's still coming down. The driveways are plowed and part of the woods to the stacks but the 4540 will get me there if we need more wood. I'll put five gallons of fuel in tomorrow morning and go back at it.

After I'm done plowing tomorrow, I'll put the bucket on so I can move some snow.
