Nice Scavenger. Now next time quit worrying about getting the pretty hand in the photo. Concentrate on the important subjects, getting that saw and the wood in focus! ;)

I know, I noticed that but I was running out of daylight fast...and while I have your attention I want to mention I had an experience the other night that I'd like to know if anyone else has shared....no it's not that:emb:....I call it the ghost infant feeding phenomenon...I've been getting up twice a night to stoke the woodburner and the other night due to the great temperatures I let it go out yet I still woke and felt a little sad that the woodburner didn't NEED me:(---I'm so glad it's colder---it's good to feel needed...

Nope, never experienced that. INTJs like myself aren't burdened by such "feelings".

Nice, but no, it stands for Judging. I'm hard wired Judging, but in some areas will cross over to Percieving. You need to study up here. The Myers & Briggs Foundation - MBTI® Basics

Might help you become more successful in all your quests in life. Helps to understand who you are first, followed by a better understanding of all the different folks around you. After gaining an understanding in this stuff your interpersonal world comes into better focus. You're not viewing it all as a simplistic picture through your type's blurred lens. For sure, there will still be some true rare jerks in your world, hard to completely avoid them. Most of the time they are just "different" though, no better or worse than yourself.

Ok ,ok...Mr. Indepth...I choose the one that closest fits me....ESFP ...I'm not about to spend $49.95 to verify that though---if I'm doing that I'll spit in a bag and have a 23 and me examine me...nothing I didn't already know....

You can't "choose" the one that you "perceive" yourself as fitting, only honest answers to a variety of specific questions will get to your "fight/flight" core self. There are numerous sites that have the online tests for free. This is fun stuff, flow with it!

I'd definitely do the DNA testing. I was going to but one of my sisters beat me to it, figure mine will be close enough to hers (that could always be an erroneous assumption  ). We've always been told it was "Polish, Irish, American Indian". Its actually Polish, Irish, Scottish, French Canadian, Spanish, and Viking. I'm disappointed that there was no Indian, I'd been proud thinking I had some of that. I'm really miffed that I wasn't part of the 2% that have some Neanderthal blood. I was positive there was some of that there, you might agree! ;)

I can't vouch for you sister but I'd suggest you have your own testing done because I'd have to say Neanderthal is a dominant force in your makeup...no MBTI question to that...more like a CLB observation....

Yup, and I'd be proud of it. See, that shows that opposite personality types (INTJ vs ESFP) can agree on something after all! :handshake: If we could only get opposites to agree in the current political situation! Not likely to happen. I think its more likely that the permafrost will melt releasing ancient virus and bacteria (like the recent release of anthrax from thawing raindeer carcasses up north). Neanderthal folks will be the only ones with some rare immunity from exposure back then and be the only ones to survive. Now that's a scary thought! :picard:

When I used to meet ESFP types I used to view them as insecure show off types who have to be the center of attention, everything is about them, gushing plastic feelings all over the place, having to outdo everyone else perched high on their pedestal. Now that I understand this all I realize that a few of them are not like that deep down........ :picard:

Sorry for stealing your thread Scavenger, this started out as a teasing compliment about your "pretty hand" but I think we scared the rest of the folks away!
