    I'm not done yet!

There's still more to do. My estimate is more than 5 cords from what was dropped off. I'll post up in the tree service freebies thread.

A six hour day of outside work. Then through dinner into crockpot, which is late:emb::D, then off to get son at practice with two other kids in tote, and then back home to finish dinner in crock pot. Now time to let it cook. And have a cold beer in my glass from last year's 1/2 marathon run. :) IMG_2782.JPG

Caffeine! I must of woke up 20 times last night. I'll get some work done this morning for the first few hours from 8-10. Then I've got to get the tractor washed off today, and I'll be staying out of the clay until things dry up. I can avoid it and go to several places where I can work on the trails.

Frosty morning and no snow yet. We were suppose to get rain. Put jackets on the dogs and took them this morning on the walk as we are not doing really long walks. I think they enjoyed it. Hard to take almost hairless dogs out into the cold. I have been knitting sweaters for them from a new pattern book I got for Christmas. They don't appreciate the trying on to get the size right.

Well, I'm pretty sure spring is here, about 3 weeks early.

Bradford pear trees are about 4 days from blooming, grass is greening up, alfalfa is starting to sprout, and I heard a turkey gobble this morning. I'll be mowing grass in another couple weeks if this keeps up.

Things are supposed to get interesting here weather-wise tonight. They're calling for severe storms, and I believe it. It's warm, 93% humidity, and the wind is starting to pick up from the south, pumping in more warm, humid air. This reminds me of mid-April weather when things can get pretty rough.

Yup, same here. The grass has started to green and I just noticed that some of it near the south side of the buildings is growing!
Crazy, green shoots popping up in the flowerbeds, our Maple trees have buds...I've seen this in March before, but not February!

Turned out I couldn't find our good garden hose handle to wash the tractor today. I bought a good one last summer and it works great. When it's around! :picard:I spent an hour looking for it and then said the hell with it. It will turn up sooner or later or the wife will find it. I then took care of other stuff today. Hair cut, ran errands, went grocery shopping, went to our Town Hall and filed a form on horse barn. Looks like it will be tax exempt for the first 10 years. Took care of some other paperwork-crap-p.i.a. stuff. Did some cleaning. Day was pretty much done then. Almost time to go to a basketball game for my son. Their season is and has been over, but for some reason they keep playing.

I woulda traded you tasks today Gasifier....
    One long, ridiculous day.
15 1st time builds of a Navy enclosure that I had to design from "scratch" off of some real blue prints dated 1957...
Sheet metal vendor met the 1/32" tolerance, but the contract production team DID NOT WHEN THEY STACKED THE CORES:hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair:

Had to trash several thou worth of formed, powder coated enclosures.....
    Me=:mad::headbang::doh:

Had to redesign an 1/8" of slop into a complex structure between 2pm and 5pm....was not as easy as one might think.
3D modeling can be very rewarding, but today really tested my mettle...yep, I meant that.
Aaaaaahhh....I might be a handful tonight around herah :wacky:
