I burned a ton of these a few years back. Excellent pellet! My local (in CT) Home Depot had them. Haven't seen them since. Not a bad price considering HD sells their usual stuff for $269.

Achilli Agway in Brattleboro. I'd grab a ton, but I'd have to figure out how to get them 120 miles south. ; )

If I had a way to get a ton to the flat lands, I'd jump on these. I'll most likely pick up a couple of bags in a few weeks when the prices does down as the temps go up.

I wanted to try those too. After burning the Blazers for a month, I was spoiled by no ash compared the the Fireside Ultras.

Hmmm 1 hour and 20 minutes west very tempting will have to check and see if they still have them but will have to borrow my buddy's HD truck as I can only fit 30 bags on my truck . Need to have my head checked I can get eagle valleys for $280 less than 3 miles from the house but Road Trip is intriguing !
I am assuming these are some kick arse pellets ?

I found them to burn very well. Certainly the best pellet I've burned from a big box supplier. Loved the pine smell when you opened the bag. Don't see too much pine on the east coast. Well, unless you count my wood stacks.

My hard headed hardwood neighbor used to give me chit over the pine n my stacks. Stuff was great for a quick remove the chill fire and anytime I needed to get the house warm quick. Always got as much as I needed free as no one else wanted it. Just told em I used it in the fire pit or making maple syrup to keep the odd looks at bay!! Specially the softwood would wreck my stove tales. Man that gets old!! Never did get many to believe that's all they use out west......... And their stoves ain't no different than ours!!

Coarse these fella's hadn't a clue what seasoned wood really is.............. :headbang:

He started using the fire bricks. Hated to tell him they are a 60% blend of softies.

I've scrounged some pine in my day. Always had to tell the person: "Yep, it's for the firepit!" Sure, it doesn't coal that well, but a split of hardwood in the firebox helps things along. And all the stuff pictured there was from trees we had taken down. It was hard to not take advantage of that.

    Ironstove,
We cleaned that out a little over a year ago; September of 2015. It really opened up the backyard!

Yes, sure is different. Looks like another flop of a sled season. I'm thinking of putting the trailer away this weekend. Don't see any way to salvage the season with the temps, rain, and lack of base.

Agreed. Our club cookout for tomorrow was cancelled. Sad irony: They're making snow at the mountain and temps tonight in SoVT will be below zero with the wind. We just can't win!
