They did a great getting the lines matched up. A buddy of mine hydro dips boxes for ecig mods. I have never thought about on a saw. If that saw sees daily use it has held up great T2 Tappin'
Ground down the bucking spike for my 372 today! Stock on left and cut down for GTG saw on right 2nd pic is the cut down Dawg on the stock one.
As MasterMech stated, it was dipped. I keep the stock plastic on it now. Still a nice saw. Has a nice Roller nose and a wicked quad port exhaust (heavily opened stock port, added right side port, and double barrels out the front)! It sounds ferocious I used to dress it up for a GTG. But it doesn't go to them anymore. The 372 I have is in the same size class and it's like comparing apples to avocados The 372 may be ugly, but it puts saws much bigger to shame!! Much bigger!! Love this ugly sucker!!
I've actually thought about getting rid of the carbon fiber plastic and the 3/4 Madsens wrap. As much as I like the Madsens, they fetch a decent dollar now. I bought mine 4 years ago when they were still sold. It was one of the last ones they had.
It looks good with the roller on it. I would love to see a vid of that in action and to hear it. I got a feeling that husky is a sprite though. If you have a vid of that and the 460 post em up or shoot me a PM with them. That is a nice 3/4 wrap though. T2 Tappin'
Good lord that is a sleeper like no other. I didn't expect that at all when I first saw the pic. Always enjoy a good sleeper though T2 Tappin'
No choke.. You have to put fuel down the carb to prime it. It's like the high idle on a saw after full choke. Once it's started, you pull the trigger and it falls off. My man!! Comes through again in a clutch!! Yeah, it's pretty fast and that chain has a lot of tooth left on it. Far from a race chain and spanks a lot of saws!!
460 with lo pro chain. It doesn't have the double barrels on it here. But has the dual port front. So it's still a tri port with the added right side port.
Looking a lot better than a stock one. It would make a great work saw I would think. I have hopes of porting and building a saw from the ground up one of these days T2 Tappin'
My 460 is ported. And it's a great work saw. No doubt!!! But compared to that 372 (only built for racing) it is no GTG saw for 3 cut.
I didn't think the 372 would be a friendly saw for work use even though she would get it done in half the time haha T2 Tappin'
