The tree service that I get some wood from could use that. They work in tight quarters in the Cleveland area and many times they can't get their skid loader into a yard. Also, sometimes it's too soft to run the loader. ETA:. I think it would be helpful to have a tricycle gear on the front when in the "trolly" configuration.
I'd LOVE to have something like this, with a 5 or 8hp engine to move it along..... What do you think, blacksmith?
Maybe we could build our own. Just pay a visit to the scrap yard, and get an engine from harbor freight. What do you think?
I think even just adding a third wheel to the removable hitch would make it even more user friendly. Something on the lines of this, http://www.amleo.com/leonard-caster-mount-attachment/p/BCC10/ Adding a 5 or 8 hp engine would be nice but would add weight and possibly cut down on it's portability but if a guy was to think a minute and got the gearing just right, maybe use a chainsaw power head with a quick tatch, detatch kinda mount onto it.
IMO if it was a tricycle gear you would always be chocking the wheel to keep it from rolling, not many flat firewood sites.
That may be so but I believe this product is targeted more towards us in the landscape/tree service biz. When you tear out trees and shrubs in a costumers yard you cant just leave all the brush and small limbs lay. Most times that all has to be drug out to the street by hand when space is limited and ground conditions are to soft to bring in equipment. I believe as you do that it would not be practical in the woods when cutting and hauling farwood.

If that bad boy had a hitch I'd definitely be interested in it. Human is a cool channel been a subscriber for awhile. Warning for any with little ones it not a little ears channel.
I made a similar cart with stuff I had at the shop early this summer . I lent it to a friend who has a small treeco to test , the first job he used it on he sent me a text saying that it was 4 times as efficient for hauling brush and logs with less than half the effort as compared to any store bought cart he's tried , he was happy . I haven't seen it since lol
This cart would be a good asset in certain situations, but it's more of an added bonus on a job than a necessity. Kinda like a powered polesaw, I don't use mine much, but it's a big time saver when it fits the job. Nothing beats a mini skidsteer with branch manager grapple for doing low impact tree work.
