On Orions sword, the fuzzy looking star, is a fabulous nebula. I have bought several wide view lenses just so I could take most of it in at once, it's huge!
BBar, that is an incredible picture... Several years back we had a night where the northern lights put on a spectacular show here in our area......reds, greens and blues, I spent a couple hours outside watching them.... Not as interesting as that pic you showed. Do you have a good telescope?
A beautiful structure. Just looking at the pic, it boggles my mind to think it is 17000000000000 miles top to bottom.
Me too. Need to get back to the moon & make a good camp site for a few year & then Mars. Then build the big, fully contained ship to head out for other solar systems with Earth like planets. Be a shame for he human race to go extinct with just one well placed large meteorite My favorite Hubble pic is the one that shows the Galaxies , just looking at a small section of space. Most of these galaxies are bigger than the Milky Way. More than a good chance ET is out there
A good friend of mine is an astro-photographer. Google Mark Sibole or look at Qteaser.com. The man was named Meade telescopes " Photographer of the year" a few years ago.
Yes. Seen this advertised. I like the guy who is doing that. What is his name again? Neil deGrasse Tyson
