So I had done a little work on this 090 a little while back and it started running bad so I took it back and rebuilt the carb this time. Oh does it run now.
I put a new bar and chain on it while it was here before returning to the owner. 36" bar and .404 chain.

Thanks I got lucky and found the oiling issue was a clogged line from sitting for years. I purchased new fuel and oiler lines for it before I opened it up. Apparently since it was stored in a climate controlled storage the lines were good to go. It's oiling as it should now. Happy about that as it keeps the saw pho all original bone stock.

DSC02514.JPG 1932-77 logo :dex:17" bar looked pretty rough in 1st pic,but sure cleaned up nice.Pretty rare to see original bar with saw.3.2 cube/50cc,produced from 1963-83,judging by that old phone number on Dealer's sticker this is no newer than mid 60's vintage.:D

DSC02528.JPG DSC02529.JPG 5.3 cube/87cc produced from June 1960 to February 1961.Earlier model because of metal mesh flywheel screen (holdover from 1-70 & previous models from late 50's) & yellow air filter cover.Later ones have the more common black hard plastic screen & black air filter cover.
Good spark, compression will snap your wrist & fires with a prime.Needs carb cleaned or rebuilt, that's a simple fix. Also this model along with the 1-70,1-72 & their gear drive cousins 1-80,1-81 & 1-82 have one of the early racing kart engines with removeable cylinder head & gasket.I believe its the MC10.

DSC02441.JPG Strong running little beast,VERY loud too.It had a newer Oregon 16" bar with it,so I swapped that out for a vintage same size 60's Oregon rollernose hanging on my shed wall.New Old Stock falling spike & original parts list arrived last week.
DSC02442.JPG DSC02443.JPG DSC02445.JPG DSC02447.JPG DSC02448.JPG DSC02449.JPG New Old Stock early-mid 80's pro full comp chain - for 20 inch bars, has 70 drivers.Nice thing is these also fit my older Mac + Poulan 20" bars since they use same number of drivers.:D
