Come to Washington, we try to hide firewood in pot! And when we run out of firewood, we burn pot instead.

I'd rather live in southern Alaska, where the neighbor guys are sufficiently helpful and the neighbor women burly (so I hear). Maybe that was only in Lake Wobegon. Whatever. Might have to work on your recruiting pitch a little? :)

Talked to a guy from N. Minnesota at the bakery yesterday. He noticed my central boiler ball cap and the conversation was on!
Turns out he also has an OWB and a band sawmill. Says he built he house and shop out of the lumber form the sawmill. I asked just how did he get past the requirement of having to use stamped graded lumber for structures? He said, we don't have any codes out in the country side! I guess that means no need for permits also???

What say you Minnesota Marty ?

They keep trying new ways... I remember watching people coming out of Mexico at an entry point and it is amazing. The dogs are not only good at sniffing, they are not something one wants to tangle with either.
