I have been a fan of the power of Dolmar engines for a long time so when I got a chance to break in a 6100 I took it.Right now in the 60 cc class I have a ported 562 xpg that is a great cutting saw.I was a little Leary of the size of the 6100 as compared to the 562 but after using it I found the 6100 to fill just as light and easy to use as the husky.Starting was top notch as it was usually running in 2 pulls on a cold start and 1 pull on a hot start. The saw is quite so I could here some chain noise that I'm not use to hearing but I got use to it.As for power the 6100 to me seemed very good for a stock 6occ saw and surprised me in timed cuts against my ported 562 with the same 20" chain. This saw is going to be ported so when it's done we will recheck.

Awesome write up and sounds like a great saw! Always heard good things about them but never tried one.

An awesome fad. Lol wish I could afford two more just to put up for if and when my current one finally wears out. Not much I would ever change on that saw. And not much I would do without after having as well.

    Subscribed for the later results!!

If it's running close to your 562xp? Then it's gotta be a pretty decent machine! Your 562xp is an animal!
