    Local codes would not apply if the USPS owns the building. Govment privilege is likely in force, now if they lease the place from a normal turkey there could be hell to pay, now this could get interesting I have two packages that are out for delivery this morning, one that should fit in the mailbox and a 20 pounder for KC. Coming smart(stupid)post via Fedex and USPS any bets, Sub gets first pick.

    most USPO here are in actuality leased on a long term lease. Would depend on the lease agreement. Many are written where the occupant is also responsible for upkeep. Who knows in this case? Gumment = judges = I wash your back, you wash Mine

    An interesting note.
    Sounds like the fire started above the drop ceiling. Most sprinklers are below as well as detectors? They would get triggered too late to do much good. And by that time, the collapsed roof would have probably taken the sprinklers to a useless position.

    Tough question. I have no doubt they would be both delivered in Winthrop. As for Standish, no idea. How about yes and no to the 20 pounder.

    Went to the heart doc today. Med assistant did another EKG, asked 50 questions, checked vitals, BP 128/70, pulse 68, O2 98%. She told me I was in good shape. That was nice but se isn't the doc. Saw him, listened to my heart, asked another 20 questions. Bottom line, I have a narrowing of my aortic valve. He's not really concerned about it but doing a echocardiogram Monday for confirmation. He doesn't think I had a heart attack. Thinks the first EKG leads were in the wrong spot. Put me on cholesterol meds to keep me healthier long term. My bad cholesterol (LDL?) has always been a little above normal. Asked if there were any restrictions, he said no. Celebrated with a T-bone and baked tater, washed down with Highlife.
