Was just on my local Home Depot's web site and notice that they dropped their price to $239 per ton on pellets(was $259).
another indicator of the BB's killing their pellet inventory for spring stuff. As their price is lower, Im guessing you wont find any new product there this season.
Check your store, if they have the reduced price, take the receipt into customer service and they will refund the difference.
HD by me still has them at $259, but if you buy 2 or more then you get them for 239/ton. I have enough for this year and next and then some. only way i'm pulling the trigger on some this year is $199/ton
$259 at HD in Poughkeepsie last night. Stove chow. I am burning a few bags of Chow now and my stove finds them a bit dirty in the burn pot. But I would buy a ton at $199 too. Doggy
I'm hoping we see close to that myself. Only problem is many of the BBS have little to no stock unlike last season. Pellet houses might be our best bet for deals, But even they were reluctant to bulk up even with a colder winter projected. Hoping we see some decent spring pre-buys?? But even so I only need a ton to top off the tank and have enough to get through next season. There's plenty of pellets out there, Its just all bound up at the mills. So its likely they will be the ones offering the discounts. Hopefully the dealers pass along the savings??
Some may, but few dealers will likely purchase heavy stock coming into spring, given that its been a mild winter, and one would have to take the risk of housing them all Spring, Summer, part of fall, with a nebulous fall demand.
Not around here. But then again, last spring the local HD's never did lower their prices for a fire sale like L*wes did.
Only dropped to $249 here from $259 for FSU . Going to need some to finish the season but for that little of a price drop Ill probably go with a higher quality pellet to finish the season . Better pellet better burn including cleaner and when burning at lower temp like the cleaner pellet.
Decent price. I'm not sure I can buy them at that price and the plant is only 40 miles from me. They burn well in my stove.
They're at $5.19/bag here - $260/ton. Actually the cheapest pellets that I've seen in a 30 mile radius of me (besides the broken bags I picked up from Aubuchon's this past weekend). .
Online here says the same $5.19 a bag but when you go into the store and buy a ton, it's discounted $30 ton. $229.50 (not $227.50, sorry my bad)
Last year I picked up a couple tons of Indecks from Home Depot in late February for $179 per. I'm watching for that clearance price to come around again. I bought a couple tons of Marth hardwoods from Menards last month for $178 counting an 11% store credit rebate.
