Thanks man, had a contractor save them for me. Unfortunately the lower one isn't strong enough for a 200# plus (cough cough) guy like myself, because of the support board spacing, so I might just stack regular pallets on it.

IMG_3763.JPG IMG_3779.JPG Great weather day in Massatucky. Dropped and cleaned this ash for dad-in-law with him and the boys. Now he's got a burn pile and a reason to get out of the house this week. Then hiked out back and built this antler catcher by the trail cam. Last weeks video had three nice bucks. I was surprised they hadn't shed yet.
    Nice day!

I have no idea how it was accessed but the fraud alert came to me in a text message on my cell phone, they monitor activities and if something comes in that is not normal they flag it...

I have my cc set so that any purchase of $600 or more triggers an alert automatically. I also call them and let them know if I'm making a large purchase - I'll put vehicle (bike, sled etc) down payments on the card and pay it off the next billing cycle so I not only get an interest free 30 day loan but also get mega points off of it. It still triggers an alert but there is no phone call. I've been called twice; once in the 90's when someone in Spain was trying to make a purchase (not large, but it was out of country), and again in the early 2000's. That time my then husband and I were both out Christmas shopping so they were seeing a flurry of activity which was unusual for us.

Glad you got the alert - it saved you a lot of hassles later!

I see a big solar array back there. Can you share some details on it?

I wish I could share more. That belongs to my in-laws' neighbor.

I can tell you that Massachusetts has a progressive view on pushing renewables that mandates suppliers to provide set amounts of MW's on the grid. The cost per MW is then borne by the rate payer. The cost is 10x+ the normal day ahead market wholesale price. It can be a good deal for those who do there home work and know how to take advantage. Your state department of energy should have a whole section on its website on how the state is managing it.

I see your in Iowa. I think your in the PJM ISO area. They may also be a good resource for information.

I guess the one thing I do know about the neighbor is that that array is net metered through his own meter. It's really not very big. And it doesn't tie to the distribution system, accept after his own meter.

    Nope, missed it.
    Looks like you're in MISO.
You're state DOE and MISO should give some level of explanation of how solar is being incetivized in your area.
If your getting unsolicited calls, it's probably from companies that have waded through the regs with energy marketers and know how they can get $$ for themselves and still save or even make you some money.

Second morning I have gone for a walk. Frosty this morning. Looks like it might be a sunny day. campinspecter is delivering the load of wood he got yesterday. After my walk yesterday, I did some weeding and cutting down of old stalks of the peony and parsley. I found some snow drops, primrose buds and crocuses open. My winter heather is doing well. Bulbs poking up all over the place especially in the pots I've got.

Went in to work for a short while this morning.

Then I figured what the heck? At this stage of my work life/career, why suffer. Sitting at home now, 99 is running for OTC meds.

Hope I can control it and not miss too much work.

yooperdave , I finally broke the 205 mark... the scale read 204.5 this morning but I think it's wrong, just the other day it was 206.

I did get up later this morning but did get my 20 minute workout in............just getting ready for my 30 minute jaunt.

My wife told me I lost 1.5 pounds talking with my friend yesterday.

My last day is Wednesday, it can't come soon enough. Whatever my final weight is, my weight that I plan on not going over is 216.

My workouts after Wednesday will be three times a week, 20 minutes per on Monday,Wednesday and Friday.
