Thanks, I've got the cough drops and dayquil covered. Have to check on the niquil. It's not that bad yet, good enough where I still went to Mass but did not participate with the handshake....
Appetite is still stronger than I wish as I can smell the bacon cooking now!!

In the garage... making my second round of beer... yesterday took longer than anticipated, but all went smoothly... with the addition of my new equipment, it actually sped up the process a bit... can't wait to get my basement setup... that way I'm not running back & forth so much....

    Extra snarky too.

I don't watch a lot of movies in the theater, but GOTG, Deadpool, John wick, ( haven't seen John wick 2 yet), the equalizer, man on fire, any star wars flick, and that kind of movie are ones I will pay to see in the theater.

"A cure for wellness" looks good and disturbing.

One I saw years ago that still has me thinking about it was "the jacket". I'm no Adrian Brody fan, but that was a crazy movie.

Frost on the grass this morning. yesterday was sunny so we took the dogs for a woods walk. basod yes, I have crocuses up and one lonely snowdrop. the rest are recovering from being eaten down by deer last year. there are leaf buds on the roses as well as two daffodils with flower buds.
campinspecter is going out for a load of wood this morning. Mom has room for a couple rows in her last shed.
And I can start walking again!!! yesterday's walk was only 25 mins at a much slower speed but it felt really great. I think I will go out again today after campinspecter leaves for the wood gathering.

Well, that's kind of a touchy subject. The wife and I were asked to come back and help lead the pack, we had been out for 5 or 6 years after our son aged out. Turns out the pack was missing several thousand dollars and on the verge of disbanding. The committee that was supposed to be overseeing things just kind of fizzled away, and the Cubmaster is a known deadbeat. We went back and got bank statements, cancelled checks, popcorn sales records and got a pretty good case against her. But nobody will help us pursue it. The Boy Scout Council, the church charter organization, and the worthless police and sheriff poo-poo it, just write it off. Stealing from 8-10 year old boys for cripes sake! Any suggestions are appreciated.

That sucks man. Unfortunately it happened to a pack in our area also. Apparently some adults should learn the meaning of scouting more so than the kids.

Took a break from work to get out with the dogs at the wood lot.

Bucked up the hard maple I brought back. Had to get rid of a bunch of punky stuff and you can see there still will be some bad splits out of those rounds. But the rest should just about finish out the stack of locust, mulberry behind it.

Kept at the splitting and stacking of the ash/elm. Almost there.

Wife and girls are out enjoying the horses. Taking turns riding them in the pasture where the footing is more sure. My son and I are being lazy inside right now.
