Pellet heads!! What's up today?

Since I bought my monthly pass, I go every day if it's not precipitating, especially after all the storms we've had. I will skip it after work if the line is too long, but haven't had many days where is wasn't snowing so I don't know how often that will occur.

 

I think most of us are aware of that.

 

I would come help you unload it, but you wouldn't take me to pick it up.

Good Morning All!
The snow is almost gone,16 inches now just here and there. 54 degrees yesterday and 46 today is predicted. Into the shoulder season already? Crazy winds returned and knocked the stove off line yesterday afternoon for about 7 hours.

The new motor is being shipped this week, back to work on the P/U restoration. Good thing I retired, I don't know what I would do with anymore time on my hand.

 

Well, here it is Feb. 19th, and this is the forecast for the next 10 days......How about Wed. & Thurs.?

56 degrees here today. No time like the present to give the P61a the full Monty. Put in the new igniter I had here in stock since the original failed last week. Pulled all the venting, cleaned the vanes on the distribution blower, vacuumed all the dust kitties out of the inside, and cleaned the fines box too. She's running like new.....

 

Just got back from a little ride on the scooter. Nice out. Solar panels are actually overproducing ! Going for a walk here shortly with my son, our wives, little Abner and the wiener dogs.

Second Bay Haven run of the 2017 season I have a chunk of prime rib in the fridge for supper the boss did in an order of lobster egg rolls.

 

Did a little garage cleaning. Broke down the pallets the spent pellet bags arrived on. Planning spring items. Some blueberry bushes going in an area I cleared last year.

 

Gorgeous day here today. Took the dogs for a nice long walk, in shorts even. And like Pete's chart showed above, we have more 50s and even a 60s day coming this week! Nice early spring preview.

 

Did a quick wax of my car today wearing shorts , and I have tomorrow off

 

Got up to 58 so I beat the rest of the ice berm off the end of the driveway. Also got most of the berm in front of the propane tanks dug out (I could only get about 1/2 of it yesterday). Went to Aubuchon's and got 5 bags of free pellets ($1/each and used a $5 reward coupon I got last weekend).



3 bags of Green Supreme, which I have never tried and 2 bags of Infernos which I have been burning a lot this winter in the P61a. In fact I got these specifically because I was down to my last bag of Infernos and was going to have to start burning the Oakie Golds during a week that is supposed to fairly warm. The bags had some holes that I taped up and for the most part the pellets are still whole so should burn fine. If I find any sawdust in the Infernos then I'll just dump it in the cat box.
