Dang , what is it with people and their "if it ain't cemented in the ground it's free for taking mentality", seems the weather warmed up and the midnight raiders are out again. First it was cutting the lights off one of the plows now it's swiping the 300 gallon bin frames. Don't mind the bin but the lights on the plow were costly to replace as well as the destroyed wiring harness. Looks like a long viewing session with the security hard drive is on my plate.
Thieves suck. Hope you have some good footage and a plate #. Sounds like you need anot electric cattle fence to me.
Where he's talking about, plates don't matter. The car if viewed in camera footage will certainly be stolen. Hopefully you can get some footage to give to the cops, and more importantly get the lights replaced easily and with as little cost as possible.
Lights and harness just under $500 out of pocket + a couple hours of my time to strip out the damaged harness and rewire. Bugger snitching lights caught. He had 35 lights in the back seat of his car when apprehended- was reselling them on E-bay. These are not the old square sealed beam types but the newer high out put units.

I feel your pain and glad you got at least one of them caught. Some don't realize how personal stealing can be to those who have worked hard for what they have tried to get through their own sweat and equity. It's bad enough they do it but when the penalty when caught doesn't fit the damage they do. it rubs me the wrong way. I have to admit I was leary of clicking on this thread as I thought it may be another one about someone's love life. LOL
I hate a thief!! Hopefully they don't go easy on the guy. Since there were many in the back seat perhaps they'll beat him with "the book" instead of slapping his hand. We can only hope!
Glad they caught the dirtbag. Like everyone's sayin', hope they don't just give him a slap on the wrist.
