    Just curious.
How many people use TSC's bar and chain oil?

I've been using it for 3 gallons now. It's bar oil.

It does what it is supposed to do. That is good enough for me. I'm not a bar oil connoisseur so if there are degrees of bar oil quality beyond good enough, I am unable to discern them.

I have used it for 10 years or so. I have never had an issue with it. I will cut it with some diesel when it gets cold and I have to cut.

I've bought some from Family Farm and Fleet, which is basically the same thing; just a bit cheaper as they are competition here.

I've used it for a few years. Always try to buy a couple gallons when it's $6 or less. I don't see any difference between it and any other bar oil.

My Husqvarna dealer carried a brand that was red and pretty tacky. It wasn't Husky. It was in a white jug similar to an antifreeze jug with red and black print. It was right around $7/gallon. I used it for awhile but Husqvarna must have said something, cause they quit selling it. Now they want 12 for Husky B&C oil.

For a buck difference I'd rather support a family owned business. Six? Nope.

I've used TSC bar oil for years. Nary a problem. It's bar oil.

I just bought a gallon at Menard's for $5 on sale the other week.

I too am no bar oil snob. It all seems to work.

I've run the TSC bar oil for years no problems. Cit it with auto trans fluid for cold weather.

Husky doesn't get on them for oil, as far as I know?

That could of been that semi syn brand that my loggers always use. I think it starts with an "s" I can't think of the name...Septer..maybe? It's in a black bottle now? It's red and I like how it looks

I care about my mix oil, but not so much the bar oil - I've used the TSC bar oil and worked like bar oil should - store is close to me so I'll pick up a couple if they are at $6 - thanks for the heads-up. Cheers!

I like it, can't beat it for the money. And remember, most of this stuff is reclaimed gear oil (or appears to be) with varying amounts of a tackifier.

I just picked some more up too. Works like it should and the price can't be beat.

I'll need to pick up another gallon or 2 as it looks like I'll use up the gallon I am on with my tree service freebies I'm working on.

We dont got tsc where i live. I buy bar oil at bi mart. They got 2 different kinds the stuff in a plain white jug which is thick and not so great for cold weather use. The other stuff is poulan bar oil which is what i like and use most.
