    You're getting spoiled for sure!!!

And as far as dropping off some fir tomorrow....ever wonder why you have to add just one letter to fir to turn it into fire??? All connected to the chimney now....makes you wonder, no? They're watching you, brother...just silently waiting and biding their time....waiting...watching....

Ayuh... I could use arms twice as long but it'll do. Without it, I just run into the bank cause I don't have the muscle with the JD to push the whole bank at a time. Ain't complainin'... love me hydraulics....

Caffeine going in. Walked out to the barn about 6:30 and plugged the tractor heater in. Then through the horses a half a bale of hay outside the barn. They came a walking quickly. It's a little chilly out.

Bet that barn is so nice now that you can keep the horses, hay and "stuff" under cover...

Anyone have a good technique for breaking in new work boots?(besides working).
I bought a new pair or Timberland pros and they are killing my ankles and lower calves.
Makes me want to stay home today.

Unbelievable weather here this weekend. Gonna take half a day off today and have a 3.5 day weekend. Lots of outdoor work and fun ahead of me.

Rain again this morning. Got new orthotics yesterday and the surgery foot is complaining about having to walk properly. My knees and hips appreciate being in the right spot though with no sideways stress. A lot went on this week so I am glad to have the weekend off. It has been busy at work.

I blocked up some logs this morning, was able to finish one of the two piles before lunch.

After lunch with my parents I took the 3550 for a ride through some of the new trails left by the loggers. I was able to use the grapple and move several trees out of the way. Cut a couple of the small ones up.

No match for the tractor and grapple.

A beautiful day to be putting around the trails and pushing things out of the way! IMG_2707.JPG

A few more shots of the trails.

Glad I went with R-1 Ag tires. Good traction in the snow and good ground clearance with tire size.

And a couple more. Lots of stumps around. It will be better when the snow is gone and I can see everything. But things will be very wet for a while when everything melts.

I told John, the tractor dealership owner, that it won't take me long to put 50 hours on it and need them to pick it up for it's first service.

By the time I put it away in the barn and let it cool down at regular idle for a bit I was over 19 hours. :D
