Igniter pooped out tonight. He lit it manually for the night. I happen to have an extra one from the ash pan fire but hope the old one is not bad, its just over 2 years old and does not cycle very often. Interestingly too, my Vornado room circulator buttons are all froze too. Any ideas?

Married on Valentines Day....smooth move bud
Fresh rolls dipped in steak juice....mmmmmmmm.

Me any my honey hit Texas Roadhouse a few weekends ago. Rolls to die for there followed by a perfect med rare sirloin. I love it when they ask if you want it "loaded". Nope, I dont like smothering a good steak. Just a little seasoning and cook it right-not even A-1 needed if done right.

She figured if I went sienial(spelling), I'd likely remember one of them.

We'd get along just fine. My grilled steaks are just but a little seasoning and hickory smoked flavor. Only juice needed is what weeps out of them. Must have at least 1 roll for dippin. ;)

Gravy goes on them taters. :D

    Busy, busy ,busy

Yesterday was a lovely day with mostly clear skies and 55 F
    Not this morning though.

We took the lovely day and decided to get a fourth load of shells (First time ever to make 4 runs in a season)

We got the opportunity a few days ago to get 5 more 55 gallon barrels with removable lids
So decided to fill them and the empties we had since the last run we made on Jan 31st

So things are in good shape fuel wise.

Got up a bit ago to 74 F in the house with the big whit running

    Noooooooooooooooo, I DON'T THINK SO.
Turned the beast off and will fire the little stove up when the temp drops off a bit.

And a grand time was had by all. :D

Finished up about 3 pm and decided to take care of the horses early, eat dinner and hit the sack.
Was in bed asleep by 5 pm

    Retirement does have it's perks

Just so you know, you can take a tablespoon of hand sanitizer and mix it with some pellets in the burn pot. It will quickly burn and you are on your way to heat. No need to get a blow torch or buy special gel.

How long have you had your vornado?
They are really good about servicing them under warranty. They even paid shipping. Call them on the phone.

I place a handful of pellets in a small juice cup and cover with rubbing alcohol stir to mix dump into a cold burn pot and place it into the stove light a match and place it into the burn pot, press start on the stove and slowly close the door. Usually starts right up.

A good med rare steak only needs a small pat of no-salt butter melted on top. No other seasoning needed at all - no salt, no pepper, no A-1.

Thank you for your post. Just got off the phone, appears they are sending a replacement out for me (said they don't repair the 660's).

I ordered prime rib last night. Looked delicious but there was a custom rub on it, one of the spices was pungent and disagreeable to me

We have the opposite problem in Minnesota where we enjoy the snow.

We had a winter like that last year. It was depressing. Hardly any snow at all.
