Good deal; with the muffler mod done (and no green gas cap) it will be a nice upgrade from the 450.

He made it an even better deal this morning and I broke down........:(
There goes my 550 money, but on the other hand I get to try a nice saw out for a month or so and if I don't like it I think I could sell it again for what I have in it.

Time to update that Sig line ;) Congrats.

I now have infected Jrsdws. He went from a Craftsman last week. To a 545, then a nice 036 Pro last night, and now working on a nice 70cc saw

Proud of you guys :) You and Chvymn99 have been snagging some nice ones :)

Yep. I don't need those little ones for limbing. I can zip through a tree with a 28" just fine. I'll be listing another saw or two shortly.

Well just got done reviewing the specs again and here was how the two stacked up:

    450
    Engine specification
    Cylinder displacement50.2 cc
    Power output3.2 hp
    Maximum power speed9000 rpm
    Fuel tank volume15.22 fl oz
    Fuel consumption504 g/kWh
    Idling speed2700 rpm
    Spark plugNGK BPMR7A, Champion RCJ7Y
    Electrode gap0.02 "
    Torque, max.2.6 Nm/7200 rpm
    Weight (excl. cutting equipment)10.8 lbs

    375XP
    Engine specification
    Cylinder displacement56.5 cc
    Power output4.4 hp
    Maximum power speed9600 rpm
    Fuel tank volume22.99 fl oz
    Fuel consumption490 g/kWh
    Idling speed2700 rpm
    Spark plugChampion RCJ7Y, NGK BPMR7A
    Electrode gap0.02 "
    Torque, max.3.4 Nm/6600 rpm
    Weight (excl. cutting equipment)12.1 lbs

I think I'm gonna like it! 1.2 HP gain and just a touch over 1lb heavier and 1.2Nm of torque at lower rpms!
I'm betting this will pull an 18" bar with some authority.

Yeah its about 13 lbs and good power. I'd much rather have one over a 346.

I have a nice 357XP. It out cuts all my 3 cube saws but it weighs a little more too.
I got it as repaired crushed chainsaw. It was almost new before the accident. I had to go back in and replace a couple more minor things after it was repaired but since then no problems.

My 365 Specials and 372XP's will out cut the 357XP but they weigh even more.

What do you think should I leave the 16" bar on this saw or is it to small? I was thinking of putting an 18" bar on it since the 16" seems a bit small or should I go with a 20" combo?

Id leave the 16" on it. You can easily cut an 18" tree by overbucking it. And if need be cut like a 30" tree coming from both sides. Thats a pretty big tree. And this is your climbing saw anyway .

Certified, I'd say you did fantastic on this deal.......that 357 is leaps above the 450......

I know ever since I bought my 372XP several years ago, when I go cutting with it I feel like I'm cheating on my other saws (being a Stihl lover) with some good looking chick.......that 372 impresses me, even with a 30"bar on it.

I wouldn't want to use anything shorter than a 20" but that's me. My dad is 65 and picked it up over the husky 50 with a 16". Not that big of a difference in weight for a good jump in torque.
