36* outside now, bright sun.....lots of melting going on, sidewalks almost all bare already.

Now, this is a forecast I can LIKE for Feb.:

 

Here we are buried in deep. Couldn't get out of here with anything but a snow sled. We have about 20 inches and growing. Wind is picking up. Still with Blizzard watch/warning conditions. Got to keep watch on our stove vents to make sure they don't become obstructed. My daughters are scheduled to work at the VA hospital today. Sent them a text to see if they were able to make it in.
Nothing we can do here but stay inside and wait for it all to wind up tonight. Another 6 inches predicted for today. I'm 70 and not in the best shape, so I won't do anything except hire it done if my son isn't able to handle it with his equipment.
One of my back doors, the other one is cleared out.

Bird feeders, yesterday and now. 11:30 AM

My garage with the lean-to Must be over a foot on that roof even with the wind blowing.
Sons says something about rain Wednesday so he wants to get the roof rake out before that.

 

My son was an engineer bridging , he was with the 502 based out of Fort Knox , changed his MOS about 5 years ago now he's Cavalry .

 

I was a combat engineer 12B.

The weather man is saying that this snow we continue to get are from a band. Well, I am sick of that band. It is NOT music to my ears. It is as annoying as my tinnitus! We have over 3 ft of snow from this storm and the ones a few days ago. Worse yet, the band will play again this Wed and Thu. with several more inches.

It is simply sending even more crap to your TV. Do a Google search on CAST for giggles. Miracast allows your TV to show what is shown on your phone screen on your TV etc,,

 

Mine came Saturday. I believe Amazon had a deal on the 1500 on Black Friday or whenever and I himed and hawed about it and didn't pull the trigger. This time I did.

There was another one for the 1000 at 99.00 a few days earlier as well but that was a 24 hour sale and I missed out on it.

 

The friggin snow won't quit up here. Today was much worse than yesterday. No idea how much we have because it's drifting so bad. Son has plowed 3 times already and coming back again. I read Pete's warning last night about making sure your exhast and OAK were clear. I went to bed knowing mine were. Well late this morning I noticed the stove was running like crap. Looked out the back door of the garage and realized a 5 foot drift had covered them both. Well I had no choice but to shovel a path and clear them both. I had to rescue my stove.

Once this one ends we get a day to clean up before we get another 8-12 inches Wed-Thurs. Running out of room for this chit.

 

I should get a picture of them in the snow. The young one loves it if the kids are our playing, otherwise she wants in the house right after she is finished with what she went out for. The old man is full of arthritis, but he limps along. Loves to play with the kids, will roll in the snow then come in with his thick snow covered fur coat. I have him on some meds to mask his pain. Seems to help a lot. Neither of them like the wind. Lots of times I can let them out and just wait by the door because they will be back within 5 minutes. Just love those critters. they keep be going.

 

The one from Newegg G, that's the one I just bought. Amazon had the 1500 for around the same price during, I believe, Black Friday.
