Well, yesterday as we were in the produce section of the grocery store, I remembered that I had bought Seville oranges earlier in the week and was going to make marmalade yesterday. So when we got home, I hauled out the equipment and viola, I had marmalade. Our store doesn't often get Seville oranges and it is only in Jan or early Feb. I know, I know - pics or it didn't happen. There is one jar missing in the pics as I had put it in the fridge as it wasn't quite full. The two little jars are for Mom.

Going over to Mom's today to move wood and visit with family that came up to see her. In BC, it is Family Day holiday. So a chance to spend time with family.

Yeah those ski doos love to bend. I launched off a rock pile the other day, if it were any other chassis I'd be replacing parts...
Nothing is wrong with old sleds, i currently ride old-r sleds........old sleds specially vintage sleds are cool. I could mention some old cool sleds!
It's comparing them to new-r sleds. Or saying they are more or just as capable is silly.

Flat straight slow sweeping ribbon is rare, and the only instance an older sled can hang.

I ride lots of tight technical bumpy stuff fast. Ive ridden them on old sleds. Getting 100 miles in of whoops mud holes etc can be a daunting task on a sit down style.
Just how your body feels the next day tells the story.
I ride with older guys in their 60s and they can't do the pace or milage on the older stuff.
I'm in my 30s and wont do it anymore.

20170213_090837.jpg I've been installing replacement windows in a Dr.s' office thats like a block away. I leave my tools there so this morning I decided to walk. I was walking in the road cause people "cant" shovel their walks. Well the sidewalk cleared and i moved onto it. I walked about 10' and all of a sudden this came crashing down. This is how far away I was. I stopped and took the pic

Happy Birthday Gasifier. We have a chit load of snow from yesterday and last night, I just came in from doing two driveways so I could warm up but I'm heading back out so I can do more before they pick it up for the installation of the third function kit and the new plow. There coming tomorrow to take the tractor.

Thanks Zap. Good news about the tractor! I hope John does something for you for your troubles. They didn't make my hydraulic lines long enough for my grapple, so they are going to have to replace them. Hopefully the learn from that mistake and make yours plenty long enough.

Snow duty completed for the second time. Once yesterday, and just finished today. The 3550 ran nice. The chains were expensive, but worth it.

I did see a plow there when I was there a couple of times. I'm not sure if it was yours or not. I have a couple of questions about the plow.

I'm wondering how the third function turns the blade both ways. I'm guessing you would hold the button in and then go left or right with the loader controller. Ya, that must be it.

The other. I wonder if you may end up being able to add a spill over of some type on the top of the blade. To keep it from rolling over the top. It looked like it is a strong one.

I guess I'm getting ahead. You'll have to have some fun before you figure that stuff out. Keep us posted with pics!

I don't think so. It would be under the floor level. But, that doesn't mean I couldn't solve that problem by building a raised platform to lift with my forks! We are hoping to get a hay elevator before we buy the first cut stuff this year.

I'm not sure how it will work until I get it back. With the tractor I'm not worried about the spill over but I'll see if you can add something.
