Up here in the great white north we are getting the opposite. It was almost 40 here today and is supposed to be warmer this week and in the mid to low 30s as far out as I looked. I guess it is time to wrap up the sled and pull out the dualsport.

We lost a technician to a heart attack 2 winters ago. He died after shoveling one of the never ending storms from that winter.

 

Not so quick. Some were golfing around here 2 weeks ago and and now...........

 

The east coast keeps getting buried with snow, and here I could cut my grass if I wanted to raise an eyebrow in the area.

I actually considered hooking the lawn sweeper up to the mower to clean up all the sticks and pine cones in the yard, then the wind started to pick up. Plus, it's February. Instead, I drank a few beers and did nothing.

Supposed to get into the high 50's/lower 60s next weekend.

That's what scares me. I had my annual checkup last week. My doc left and hasn't been replaced yet so I saw a PA that I haven't met before. He listened to my heart and asked my how long I had had the heart murmur? Huh? What ? He then did an EKG and after looking at the results, told me I have already had 1 heart attack. I have an appointment with a cardiologist on the 22nd. So this heavy snow makes me nervous.

Wow, talk about getting real, real fast. Take care of yourself first and foremost

 

One thing I found out after was that he was having some symptoms before hand and didnt get checked out. Take care of yourself subbie

 

X2...screw that snow sub, someone else can take the reigns and do it.

 

That's the hard part. I hate having to ask people to do things for me.

 

Many of us are like that. Its hard to ask for help, but do it. This is serious chit

 

I hear ya on that , tough male pride , but some times we got's to bite the bullet and do the right thing for yourself and your family and it's hard to do

 

That's something not to mess around with - take it easy there Sub & get any help you need to deal w/ the snow.
