Well, finally finished all the clean-up outside. Crappy part is that it was freezing rain/sleeting the whole time. But I guess salt will have to take care of that chit......and my ice grippers. Mine aren't as fancy as Will's, but I got just as nice socks. :D

And while I was out there, figured I better keep ahead of the snow on the roof, so the roof rake got more use.

I'm beat....time for some shine!

Dad is 85, and has a toothache. his drink of choice has always been Jim Beam and a bit of Sweet Vermouth. told his wife the bourbon was helping the abscessed tooth that puffed up his cheek like a chipmonk. for medicinal purposes!:thumbs::drunk:

    Latest forecast:

Chimes are still pretty quiet, so the wind hasn't started howling yet. Son #1 plans to hit the end of the driveway with his plow about 1 AM the again later in the morning. Got the genny running this AM just in case, but because I did, we won't lose power. Plenty of beer and food. I'm good to go.

Better get him on an antibiotic, like now, because that abscess can affect his heart. But no ETOH while on an antibiotic.

About 6:00 Pm we went out to sling the white crap. It had pretty much stopped. About 6" which wasn't to bad. Fairly light an fluffy chit. Once we got done it started to mist a fine rain. So I spread a bit of sand /salt on the steps and deck. Getting ready to make dinner and Its changed back to a light snow. Weather person said its gonna spit and sputter but should clear out by 9:00 PM for the most part. Winds are still calm here too.

Gonna hit the hay early JIC I got to clean up a bit in the AM. Hope Joey has school or he'll be going till mid June. Only was in for 1 and 1/2 days total last week.

Last 4 days in a row, We've sling shovels or got dragged around by the sn*wblower. I hope thats it for now. Back aint feeling it anymore! And I'm afraid to look at the forecast!!

ETOH and a lot of Meds don't play well together and that includes with all Antibiotics now the one I have to avoid is the pizzing pill and the ETOH. At least 5 hours is my time delay between ETOH and the pill that keeps on waking me up.

You guys in Maine have rougher maps than NH forecasters. Yours has me in the 16-24, where NH has me in 10-18. I went out and snow blowed back around 4:30 and thats it for the night.

Work hasnt officially closed :picard: but I just put out an email to all employees to make their own call if the weather is too bad for them. I dont want any "heroes", especially the several new employees that we have.
