Oh, I did - no worries. :D * Can't bust her chops too much, I may want to visit there real soon now.

Nice MacGyvering skills there B ! ( If you toss some wet traction sand in those planters, it will keep those boards anchored tight. )

Um, maybe clumping cat litter?  I'm betting the snow will do it since they are saying it will be wetter than the last snow. Or, I could just pour some water in ther and let it freeze.

Noooo ... That will crack the planter boxes - water expands when it freezes .. Unless you're gonna leave it there until late May.

On the 'Tastes great, less filling!' program now..

    HPIM0698.JPG

Had to snap that pic quick, Beer was getting warm.

Thanks Will, seems to be all Skippy now. Even after 2+ seasons, always learning something new: today's lesson was need to pay more attention to the Heat Exchange area, and give it a full cleaning every 1/2 ton now.

The smoke probe is reporting 358 F at the combustion blower, it's back to exactly where it's supposed to be the 1.8 lb/hr feed rate.

I'd give it another shot at the higher rate, but not tonight - I'm drinking.

    Beer is Good Rob
I was a bit concerned with the ash plug you said you had at the exchanger , I know that you only burn the "good" stuff, but maybe with the small fire box it requires more frequent cleaning , as long as your Honey is warm it's all good

Honey is warm & cozy w/ Wine, it's all good..

The winds have been gusting pretty good from the last few storms / the past week, so I'm sure that helped w/ for building up more ash in the Heat Exchange area vs. normal ..

But at the end of the day, it's on me: stove won't clean itself (yet) so I'll be pulling the panels & cleaning every few days now. :salute:

That refrigerator brush I picked up @ Wallyworld saved my Bacon today.. I'm gonna pickup a few more as spares and squirrel them away.

WMUR is still showing this with a disclaimer of "some areas could get more than 18". Sounds like they are pussyfooting around the inevitable.
The winds sound like they are a big factor in this one along with higher temps than last Thursday which all means wetter snow and more probability of outages.
