Yes. But I had to park it in the barn and leave ASAP to get to my son's last basketball game. I have to wait to play! Thanks!

I assume you know about this revelation, never pursued by the NFL, note this was well before deflategate.

“‘I like to push the limit to how much air we can put in the football, even go over what they allow you to do and see if the officials take air out of it,’” Simms said Rodgers told them before the game.

Work brought me to Springfield Illinois yesterday. I was able to bug out in just enough time to visit Lincolns tomb.

For those who haven't been there I thought I'd share some pics.

First off I was kind of underwhelmed, not by the tomb, but by the surroundings. For some reason I thought it would be more landscaped or something more special of a setting, as it sits in the midst of a public cemetery.

I know the drab, gray winter day didn't help with my first impression either.

You enter into the tomb into a small entryway through a solid steel door at the base of the monument.

Inside the tomb the hallways leading back to the tomb area are bare except for a few bronze statues and a couple plaques.

Everything is very simple, even the tomb itself.

The wall behind the tomb holds the body's of his wife, and three of four of his children. Of the four, only one lived beyond 18 years of age.

It really shows the trials this man went through as he lead our nation. Started with only a basic education, a mentally ill wife, losing his children at such early ages, the Civil War.

Funny as I left it dawned on me that the tomb was perfect for him.

A simple man, struggling against steep odds. unselfishly serving and ultimately giving everything for our country.

Yep, I'm well aware of that.

Saying, doing, and getting caught are different things.

Deflategate is the least of the offences that the patriots have committed. The 4 game ban Brady for was for repeated cheating, as well as obstruction of justice ( in effect) since Brady had his phone destroyed. Basically the the repeat offender treatment.

We put a little over 100 miles on the sled today. Trails were great.

Only a couple of morons on the trail. Most were within their limit.

It has to be very humbling to be holding up an older 2up with 2 people on it by 3 solo riders on 1 up 600+ cc new sleds.

I'll put more miles on tomorrow and Sunday.
I've got a good start on the mileage.

My 2up is a 97 Yamaha venture 600 twin. She thing as the VMAX 600 with a long track and 2 up seat.

I keep seeing deals on leftover brand new 1-2 yr old Yamaha 4 stroke 1050cc ventures for ~$7700.

    I demo rode a 2015 1050 venture in 2015 and I was pretty impressed.

8k for a new one leftover, with warranty? That's pretty tempting.

If winter's cooperate for the next few years, which I think they will, I'd get a good amount of use out of it.
These bad winters for snowmobiling seem to hit in a year or 2, them they go back to good years for 5 years or so.

Caffeine going in. After I wake up and get my blood flowin, it is time to clean up some snow with the new Mahindra. We didn't get a lot, but it will be an easy way to start getting use to it.
