50 mps is actually good unless you have multiple people streaming at once. What I really wanted was the lowering of the rates and they threw in the higher speed. I wasnt saying no to that.

I have read that Comcast throttles back the speeds for people that drop their TV service and just keep the internet. Kind of BS if you ask me.

Well, sun was out most of the day, temps got up into the high 30's, and most of the roads & my driveway are bare. Since it was so nice out, and I heard rumors of more crap coming this weekend, I got the roof rake out and cleared off about 3' all around.
Sun melted it around the edges real nice. :)
One of the best purchases I've made.

WMUR has both me and my work area in 10"-18" area. Looks like I will be having a chat with the owner on possibly being closed all day Monday as it isnt suppose to be finished until mid day. Unfortunately NH doesnt "close" the roads and leaves it up to the individuals.

Just checked mine on both Speedtest and also Metrocast speedcheck site which is done by Ookla as well but on a dedicated server so they get accurate rates. Speedtest uses many different servers.

Pretty similar and not bad for a Friday night when everyone you share the lines with are online. Earlier today I was getting 154mps

A year ago, those upload speeds were my best download speeds from the same company. They have definitely upped their game since TDS came to town.

I suspect he is all over it! He is often onto things before I am. Both he and his wife have to deal with it. I am sure they are even more unhappy about it than either you or me.
These things tend to create a run on things at the grocers etc. Best to be stocked up and stay that way until we get through this next month

upload_2017-2-10_19-32-4.png This is what I am paying for. I get the phone and "turbo speed" internet. Seems like a lot of money to me, but I don't see how I can cut the cost down.

I guess you're supposed to be able to talk to this phone and it will send a text. Haven't learned that part yet.

    Sure does.

Unfortunately I saw it. WGME is saying 14-22" Sunday into Monday on top of 2-5" tomorrow. Sunny Tues, snow Wed., heavy snow Thurs. If we have work Mon., I'm gonna work from home. Tues. I'm gonna take a partial vaca day to get the snow off the roofs before the next round(s) come.
