Nice, I like some living color. I bought one of those potted miniature roses yesterday while I was at the market. I'll repot it and have it on the sunporch (heated) then once it is safe outside, I will plant it in the ground. I have had them take off and grow into sizeable plants and overwinter just fine.
    thanks for sharing.

Haven't heard any. We are over a foot now and the wind picked up. Still sn*wing, But much lighter than an hour ago.

The shop is closing 2nd and 3rd shifts. With the storm letting up, They are gonna be ticked as they will need to burn vacation or personal days. I can see second closing, But 3rd should be fine as the roads will be cleared. They asked me to stay till 5 to close up, But I need to get home and get the chit cleared so I can come in tomorrow. One of the Engineers is gonna stay and lock up. He lives in a condo and only needs to shovel his rear deck. Woot, I bee off the hook.
Thanks Will, Needed that. And a brew of coarse. Another hour and I can make the trek home. Grab one and a nip to recharge to do the blowing detail.

Was checking NBC-30 and parts of Eastern CT. might get up to 20" We are still in the 6' to 12' in my town. But we already had 12 inches reported at the weather station around noon-ish. I'm sure it will get upgraded to 18"

Well, "only" got about 9" here, so didn't make the upper limit. Outdoors clean-up is all done, wet clothes are in the dryer, and I just had a good slug of Apple Pie shine.....mmmmm, that makes me all warm inside. :D

Looks like the official total for my town is 14" and its all but stopped. Just some flurries and what the wind is blowing around. Temp has dropped to 20° and even colder with the wind chill.

My son was rambunctious and he did all the shoveling. So I get to chill until the AM clean up(likely just drifts here and there). Woot!! ;)

I know my signature temp says 22*, but it's really 18* at the house now. Calling for 13* plus wind around midnight. :shiver::shiver:
But with the wind chill, supposed to get to around 0* UNLIKE! :shiver::shiver::shiver:

Started snowing hewre at 10. Office closed at noon. There was 5-6" in the parking lot already. Still coming down here though it should end pretty soon. Wind is howling, colder than hell out. More snow 6 out of the next 7 days with Tues. as the only break. Another major storm Monday. Local weather guy said that one is more powerful than this one. Great. What does that translate too, 2 feet or more?
